Officials from the Office of the Attorney General assume any potential costs arising from this proposal can be absorbed with existing resources.

No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.





DESCRIPTION



This proposal authorizes the Governor to convey a permanent easement on state property in Callaway County to the City of Fulton for the purpose of constructing a hiking and biking trail. In the event the City of Fulton ceases to use the property for a hiking or biking trail the easement would be void, and the City of Fulton would be responsible for executing any documents required to remove the easement from the recorded title of the property. The Attorney General shall approve as to form the instrument of conveyance. Section A of this proposal has an emergency clause.



This proposal is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
