FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

Officials of the Department of Natural Resources assume no fiscal impact.

Officials of Ste. Genevieve County stated that "if the County line stays as is there would not be any changes in revenue other than changes in assessed valuation in the following years".

Oversight assumes this proposal would place into law the boundary line that was surveyed in 1925 and 1926 by the County Surveyors of Ste. Genevieve and St. Francois counties. Oversight assumes that this survey is the survey upon which the County Assessors of both counties currently base their county assessments. Therefore, Oversight assumes no fiscal impact to either county from this proposal.

St. Francois County officials did not respond.
