FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business



No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.



DESCRIPTION Under current law, any fire department, municipal subdivision, or county must have approval from the Governor before entering into a mutual-aid agreement with other public or private agencies for reciprocal emergency aid. This bill removes the requirement that the Governor must approve these agreements.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
