ASSUMPTION
Officials with the Department of Public Safety assume this proposal would have no fiscal impact on their agency.
Officials with the Department of Transportation (MoDOT) assume the Submarine Veterans' Association will pay for all the appropriate signage for the "Submarine Veterans' Highway," as stipulated in the act, and that the Lincoln County Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8828 has agreed to pay for all the appropriate signage for the "Veterans Highway" in Lincoln County. MoDOT further assumes that private donations will pay for all the appropriate signage for both the "Deputy Steven R. Ziegler Memorial Highway" and the "Trooper Jesse R. Jenkins Memorial Highway." Oversight assumes that MoDOT will not order or install such signs until the funds are received.
