FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business



No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.



DESCRIPTION



This proposal would establish a Joint Committee on Waste, Fraud and Abuse. The Committee would make a continuing study and analysis of inefficiencies in state government, determine means of identifying potential and actual inefficiencies in state government, determine the need for changes in law, rules or policy to address inefficiencies, and make recommendations to the General Assembly to reduce inefficiencies.



This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space. This proposal would not affect Total State Revenue.
