ASSUMPTION


Officials from the Office of Attorney General, Office of Administration (COA) - Administrative Hearing Commission, COA - Division of Budget and Planning, COA - Children's Trust Fund, Office of State Courts Administrator, Department of Health and Senior Services, Department of Social Services, Department of Public Safety (DPS) - Director's Office, DPS - Missouri State Highway Patrol, Office of Lieutenant Governor, Missouri Senate, and Office of State Public Defender assume the proposal will have no fiscal impact on their organizations.


Officials from the Department of Corrections, Office of the Governor, Missouri House of Representatives, and Office of Prosecution Services did not respond to our request for a statement of fiscal impact. However, based on responses from an earlier version of this proposal and other similar legislation (HB 954 and HB 935), Oversight assumes the proposal would have no fiscal impact on these agencies.
