FISCAL ANALYSIS


ASSUMPTION


Officials from the Department of Public Safety - Office of the Director and the Missouri State Highway Patrol state this proposed legislation will have no fiscal impact on their respective agencies.


Officials from the Department of Revenue state this proposal will require modification of the Missouri Driver Guide (printed and web versions), Graduated Driver License informational pamphlet (DOR 4821), and website information. This proposed legislation will require programming changes the to Missouri Electronic Driver License (also referred to as Over the Counter) software and supporting applications. These programming changes will need to be designed and tested. The estimated one-time cost for these changes is $2,000.


Oversight assumes this cost can be absorbed with existing resources.
