ASSUMPTION


Officials of the Office of the Attorney General stated that any costs arising from this proposal could be absorbed with existing resources.


Officials of the Office of the State Public Defender assume no fiscal impact.


Officials of the Office of State Courts Administrator assume no fiscal impact on the Courts.


Officials of the Department of Public Safety - All Divisions assume no fiscal impact.


Officials of the Department of Corrections assume no fiscal impact.


Officials of the County of Cass assume this proposal would have annual costs of $500. Officials did not explain costs.


Officials of the Clinton County Commission made a statement but issued no fiscal impact estimate.


Officials of the City of West Plains assume no fiscal impact.


Officials of the City of Centralia assume they would realize some administrative impact from providing notices to law enforcement officers, and reporting requirements. Officials estimate annual fiscal impact to the city of $25.


Officials of the Springfield Police Department estimate annual costs from the notification and reporting requirements at $5,000.


Officials of the Boone County Sheriff’s Department assume no fiscal impact.


Oversight assumes the notification and reporting requirements would generate administrative impact and would have no state or local fiscal impact.
