FISCAL ANALYSIS
ASSUMPTION
Officials from the Department of Public Safety - Alcohol and Tobacco Control assume the proposal would not fiscally impact their agency.
Officials from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office assume the proposal would not fiscally impact their agency.
Officials from the Springfield Police Department (SPD) assume the proposal would result in some cost with the response required once the police agency is notified of an arrest or pending arrest. The SPD assumes the cost could be roughly $100 per response. It would depend on how many requests for response are received each year to estimate the total.
Oversight assumes the proposal would not result in any additional costs to the local police departments or sheriff’s offices throughout the state.
