FISCAL ANALYSIS
ASSUMPTION
Officials from the Department of Health and Senior Services, Office of the Attorney General and the Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions & Professional Registration each assume the proposal would have no fiscal impact on their respective agencies.
Officials from the Department of Social Services (DSS) assume the DSS had no cost associated with the enactment of Section 376.1743. Likewise, its repeal will have no fiscal impact to DSS. Whether or not midwives are allowed to practice in the state of Missouri does not determine what services will or will not be covered by Mo HealthNet.
