FISCAL ANALYSIS
ASSUMPTION
Officials from the Department of Health and Senior Services, Department of Public Safety, Office of Administration, Missouri Health Facilities Review Committee and the Department of Mental Health each assume the proposal would have no fiscal impact on their respective agencies.
Officials from the Department of Social Services assume the proposal does not change the requirements for facilities to install approved sprinkler systems. It allows facilities who have submitted a plan for compliance either NFPA 13 or NFPA 13R to apply for a loans from the Department of Health and Senior Services.
Since the requirements to install approved sprinkler systems have not changed, the MO HealthNet Division assumes no impact.
