Officials of the Department of Public Safety - Fire Safety Division assume no fiscal impact to their division.
Oversight sent response request to several fire protection districts and none have responded.
Oversight assumes this proposal is enabling legislation and allows fire protection district boards at their discretion to delegate certain powers to their fire chief. Oversight assumes no fiscal impact to fire protection districts.
