FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

Officials at the Missouri Department of Transportation assume construction costs to make such an improvement are estimated at $1.2 million. This estimate was calculated by our Engineers assuming we would build a new two lane roadway, with narrow paved shoulders, that was about 3,700 feet long and about 3.5 feet higher than the existing roadway. We do not plan to acquire any right-of-way. The department assumes no fiscal impact due to language stating costs are subject to appropriations.
