Enter a + before a word (+schools no space) to indicate the prior word AND this word must both be found. tax +commission

 

Enter a - before a word (-schools no space) to indicate the prior word OR this word is found. tax -commission

 

If you enter a phrase, enclose the phrase in single quote marks 'tax commission' to find that sequence of words together.

 

Enter a ~ before a word (~commission no space) to indicate the prior word must be NEAR this word. tax ~commission

Searching the Missouri Statutes and Constitution

Your search will return results from both the Missouri Revised Statute and Missouri Constitution. The search will be performed on all text, headnotes, footnotes and annotations.

Searching for a single word

The search will return a result if the word is contained in a section as entered. Single words should not be enclosed in single quotes.

Searching for a phrase

The search will return a result if the phrase is contained in a section as entered. You must enclose the phrase in single quotes as 'tax commission'

Combining phrase search with word searching

The search will return a result if the phrase is contained in a section as entered with the condition you enter for narrowing your search results further.

For example: 'tax commission' +property would return results that contained the phrase 'tax commission' and the word property.
