166.242. The state or any state agency, county, municipality, or other political subdivision may, by contract or collective bargaining agreement, agree with any employee to remit payments toward advance payment contracts through payroll deductions made by the appropriate officer or officers of the state. Such payments shall be held and administered in accordance with the provisions of sections 166.200 to 166.242, sections 173.053 and 173.262, RSMo.
