411.383. Every licensed warehouseman who issues warehouse receipts shall maintain at his place of business a warehouse receipt register containing the duplicate copy of all issued receipts, each by consecutive number. Upon cancellation of a receipt, the original shall be retained in the warehouseman's files attached to its duplicate. After cancellation neither the original nor the duplicate shall be removed from the files.
